OneStream Named a 4x Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant

By · OneStream Solution Architect ·

OneStream has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Financial Close and Consolidation Solutions for the fourth consecutive year — and this time it placed furthest of all evaluated vendors in Completeness of Vision, the company announced.

What Gartner Evaluated

Gartner assessed 14 financial close and consolidation providers on two axes: Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. OneStream landed in the Leaders' quadrant on both, and its furthest-in-Vision placement is the headline — Gartner's way of saying the platform's roadmap and market understanding lead the category, not just its current delivery. For a market that includes entrenched legacy vendors and a wave of newer cloud entrants, four consecutive years in the Leaders' quadrant is a durable signal, not a one-off.

A Busy Week for OneStream

The recognition capped a newsy stretch: a day earlier, OneStream announced Splash 2026, its flagship user conference, set for May 18–20 in Orlando with more than 2,400 finance professionals expected, plus a OneStream World Tour of one-day events across London, Paris, Amsterdam and Madrid in June. The conference agenda is heavily focused on how finance teams scale AI — a preview of where the product investment is going.

Our Take

Analyst placements don't close your books, but they matter in two practical ways. First, they de-risk the platform decision for finance leaders who need to defend a selection to the board — a 4x Leader with the furthest vision score is an easy line in a business case. Second, "furthest in Completeness of Vision" sets expectations: OneStream is betting its roadmap on unified data plus AI, and customers should plan their own roadmaps — upgrade cadence, skills, data governance — to be in a position to actually use what's coming. If your consolidation platform evaluation is underway, this is the context to read the quadrant in: execution today, and where the platform is headed next.
