OneStream Ranked No. 1 in Three 2026 ISG Buyers Guides

By · OneStream Solution Architect ·

OneStream announced on November 4, 2026 that ISG Research ranked it first overall in all three of its 2026 Buyers Guides covering Record to Report, Financial Close, and Financial Consolidation, according to the company's announcement. OneStream earned an "Exemplary" rating, ISG's top rating tier, in each.

What Was Evaluated

Per the release, the Record to Report guide evaluated 10 software providers on financial consolidation, close management, reconciliation, and financial reporting. The Financial Close guide covered 14 providers on close process management, reconciliation, journal management, and financial analysis and reporting. The Financial Consolidation guide covered 19 providers on consolidation process management, intercompany management, journals, and auditing. OneStream says it ranked ahead of every evaluated provider in all three and led more individual evaluation categories than any other participant. The release does not publish numerical scores.

What They Said

Robert Kugel, Executive Director of Business Research at ISG Research, is quoted saying that "OneStream ranked first overall in all three of our Buyers Guides," and that enterprises should weigh both product capability and customer experience when choosing a provider. CEO Tom Shea said the Leader ranking and Exemplary ratings help Finance leaders report accurately and act decisively. The release also notes OneStream was one of three finalists in the ISG Software Innovation Awards, Business & Technologies category.

Our Take

Analyst rankings are one input, and this announcement comes from OneStream itself, so read the full ISG reports for category-level detail. Still, the three guides map to the work most OneStream projects revolve around: consolidation, intercompany, journals, reconciliation, and close management. For existing customers, the practical question is whether your application uses those capabilities well. Many of the close and consolidation problems we see come from configuration and process design, not missing platform features. If you are weighing a new implementation or an optimization effort, use the ISG evaluation criteria as a checklist against your current setup and note where you rely on workarounds.
