OneStream Named the Only Customers' Choice in Gartner Peer Insights
By Grant Deker · OneStream Solution Architect ·
OneStream was named the only Customers' Choice in the 2026 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for Financial Close and Consolidation Solutions, according to the company's September 14, 2026 announcement. The recognition is based on verified customer reviews rather than analyst opinion.
The Numbers
Per the release, OneStream holds a 4.8 out of 5 overall rating and a 98% Willingness to Recommend, drawn from 171 verified reviews as of June 30, 2026. Customers' Choice goes to vendors that meet or exceed the market average for both Overall Experience and User Interest and Adoption. OneStream was the only vendor in the category to earn it. The company's CEO, Tom Shea, said the recognition reflects the "speed, reliability, and a single governed source of truth enterprises require," and reviewers highlighted the speed and accuracy of data retrieval and the efficiencies and controls it brings to the financial close.
Context
This follows OneStream's March placement as a four-time Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, which we covered in our earlier post. The Magic Quadrant reflects analyst evaluation; Peer Insights reflects what practitioners say after using the product. Having both pointing the same direction is a useful data point for anyone building a shortlist.
Our Take
Customer satisfaction scores are worth reading, but they average across many deployments of different quality. Reviewers praising speed and close controls are describing platforms that were implemented and maintained well. If you are evaluating OneStream, or already run it, the practical question is whether your own implementation delivers those outcomes. A well-designed model and a disciplined close process are what turn a highly rated platform into a highly rated experience for your team.
